About Nasar
My ambition to learn and teach others started from a very young age. I developed a strong passion for mathematics especially. I have a thorough understanding of all the topics and questions in mathematics. This allows me to easily explain any concept to my students. I am a patient and friendly individual who is a pleasure to work with.
My academic journey includes:
High School Bachelors from Durban High School (achieved 98% for my Mathematics NSC Grade 12, 96% for NBT Mathematics and 93% for NBT Quantitative Literacy)
BCom Economics and Finance degree from UCT.
Currently studying BCom Honours Financial Management via UNISA

I have a very flexible approach to the way I teach. It is solely up to you on what you would like to have me prepare for the lesson or if you would like to have a session of just answering questions. There are many different approaches used by students, and due to my experience, I am able to adjust and prepare accordingly. However, overall, I would say that my approach to tutoring is very student based, taking the time to point out common errors and how we can avoid them. I am happy to deal with any sort of question, as this broadens my knowledge about the subject. I encourage my students to not be afraid to ask about anything they might not yet understand.
