About Michael
Teaching has been part of my life for as long as I can remember, it started as something I did because I genuinely enjoyed helping people understand things that once felt confusing to them.
What draws me to teaching Mathematics and Physics specifically is the moment a concept "clicks" — when a student moves from memorising a formula to actually understanding why it works.
I want to teach because I believe every student is capable of genuinely understanding these subjects, not just surviving them.

Every student learns differently, and my approach is built around that simple truth. With over five years of experience teaching Mathematics and Physics across the British and American curricula, I have learnt that real progress comes from understanding how a student thinks, not just what they need to know.
Rather than following a rigid, one-size-fits-all structure, I tailor each lesson to the individual, identifying where their understanding breaks down, adjusting my pace and explanations accordingly, and building on their existing strengths. I break complex concepts into clear, manageable steps, using real-world examples and visual methods where they help, so that ideas click rather than get memorised.
My goal isn't just to help students pass exams but also to build lasting confidence and genuine curiosity in, so they walk away with skills and understanding that stay with them well beyond the lesson.
