About Jill
Piano was a constant during my formal training alongside my violin studies. I hold a Master of Music from the Yale School of Music earned in 2012.
Over the last 13 years, I have taught 488 students including many intermediate pianists who desire more rigorous technical growth. My work emphasizes memorization techniques, accompaniment skills, scales and arpeggios, grade exam prep for ABRSM and Trinity, sight reading, and music theory. I prefer to start by listening to your current struggles. It is often difficult to articulate exactly why a passage feels stagnant. We address this by breaking down complex theory and technique into manageable steps. You will benefit from my focus on precision and structural understanding.
I assign weekly practice modules with every class to ensure consistent progress. These lessons are priced at 10.0. I look forward to seeing your musical confidence grow.
