About Allyson

I have worked with students from grade 1 to 12, as well as adults. I have a specialist in English instruction and a specialist in Special Education.
I will work with you to develop skills that will allow you to find success in your current courses, but also help you find success in your post-secondary studies.
I enjoy proofreading and editing papers, looking for ways to strengthen arguments and thesis statements, and helping you to improve your grammar.

About the lesson

As an Ontario certified teacher with over 20 years experience teaching English to high school students, I can help students express themselves with clarity, refine their arguments, improve their grammar, and think critically. Do you need help writing a thesis? Do need help to critically analyze a text? Do you struggle to figure out why you aren’t doing well on your essays? I can help.
I will work with you on what you have to do for your current classes or help you prepare for next semester.
