  • 1) Can you tell us about your first experience using a computer?

My very first experience was in the school computer lab, using simple programs like Paint-which I jokingly call my "first drafting project." I began learning drafting seriously in 2007. It was fascinating to use shapes and lines to create objects that could "speak" on paper, and just a year later, I was given the opportunity to help train interns at the same institute. That early hands-on experience built the foundation for my teaching journey.
  • 2) What is the technological evolution that has marked you most and what will be, in your eyes, a turning point in this field?

The biggest evolution I've seen is the shift from 2D CAD to 3D BIM (Building Information Modeling) with software like Revit. It completely changed how professionals plan, visualize, and coordinate projects. The next turning point will be even deeper integration of AI, automation, and cloud collaboration-making design smarter, faster, and more accessible to teams anywhere in the world.
  • 3) Explain your expertise, your interest in it and, more broadly, its importance in the computer world.

I specialize in teaching AutoCAD and Revit, helping students build strong skills in digital drafting and 3D modeling. I'm passionate about breaking down complex tools into simple, understandable steps, so learners can gain confidence and creativity in their designs. These programs are important in today's computer world because they combine precision with innovation, and knowing how to use them well opens up many opportunities across various design and technical fields.
  • 4) Do so-called 'visionaries', such as Bill Gates, Steve Jobs and Mark Zuckerberg inspire you or do you have other role models?

I admire Bill Gates for his philanthropy and Steve Jobs for his design vision. But I'm equally inspired by educators and open-source contributors who dedicate themselves to sharing knowledge freely. While visionaries often spark big ideas, it's the passion and commitment of everyday teachers and creators that truly drive lasting progress in technology and education.
  • 5) Provide a valuable anecdote related to your subject or your days at school.

One of my students was struggling to print materials from Revit-everything looked perfect on screen, but the materials wouldn't show up in the printout. Our session was almost over, and I had two classes after, so I couldn't extend her time. She had a submission at 8 AM the next morning. Around 2 or 3 AM, I had an idea and messaged her, asking if she wouldn't mind trying something late at night. We tried the fix together, and in just 30 seconds, it worked perfectly. She was so happy and kept thanking me for days. Moments like that remind me how rewarding teaching can be.
  • 6) What would you say to an uncomfortable person in front of a screen who says that "IT is too complicated"?

I'd say it's completely normal to feel that way at first-technology can seem overwhelming until you break it down step by step. With patience and the right guidance, anyone can learn IT skills. I always encourage my students to take it slow, ask questions, and remember that every expert started as a beginner.
  • 7) What are your other passions, related or non-related to computers?

Outside of teaching, I enjoy sketching and exploring new design tools to stay creative. But overall, I love teaching. It's been my first passion since 2008, teaching students and, during this time, watching myself grow from basic skills to advanced professional levels.
  • 8. What makes you a Superprof in IT?

I combine real-world experience with a clear, patient teaching approach. I understand that AutoCAD and Revit can feel overwhelming at first, so I break lessons into simple, understandable steps tailored to each student's goals. I've taught well over 200 students in the USA and Canada (I wish I had the exact number!) and have been working on this platform since 2019/20. My reviews are all 5-star, with nearly double the count of others teaching the same subjects. My priority is not just teaching software, but building confidence and helping learners see real progress they can apply in their studies or careers.
