About Ruojing
I'm Ruojing, a 24-year old professional artist and experienced teacher. I have been working as an artist for the last 6 years, creating countless commissioned portraits and tutoring many wonderful students.
I have published children's piano painting textbooks and large-scale event illustration wallpaper. The response from both customers and students has been excellent.
I work with children and adults at any skill level. My lessons are designed to be fun, engaging, and tailored to your individual needs and interests. I can teach you board painting (drawing on an ipad) or acrylic paint and colored lead.At the same time, my mother is a famous calligrapher in China, I am proficient in traditional Chinese calligraphy and painting, welcome interested students to consult.

I will access my student's current level of art and create a lesson planned best suited to them as an individual. This will include building up a foundation of basics such as still life and then work up to more complex topics such as life drawing.

Lesson 4-5: Animal Portraiture
Create a realistic paintings of small animals.

Use soft pastel chalks to create base layers and pastel pencils to create a convincing fur texture.
Adding smooth backgrounds to your portraits.
Lesson 6-7: Landscape in Soft Pastels
Practice two landscapes of your choice.
Learn techniques to draw elements like trees, water, and foreground.
Creating depth and perspective in landscapes.
Lesson 8: Portraiture in Soft Pastels
Draw a realistic face from a reference photo of your choice.
Learn how to draw convincing facial features and practice layering and blending techniques for skin tones.
