About Shakira
I am a former Asia Pacific Studies student who has been self teaching myself Japanese for 2 years, studying Japanese in Uni for 3 years and spent a year in Japan. I am very confident in teaching beginners Japanese. I am very friendly and patient, and easygoing as well. I hope to make the learning experience fun and rewarding!

I use the textbooks Genki 1 and 2 and focus on pronunciation, grammar and speaking and listening skills. If you don't understand something I will be happy to go over it again or explain it in a different way, and I can go at any pace to suit the learner.
