About Timothy
Hi! I have always been eager to teach whenever prompted, and love helping students overcome any issues they might have. I became ill during year 10 and missed 1/3 of my GCSE courses. I was low on energy and spent a long time recovering. I could not spend lots of hours revising, so I mastered exam technique which is much of what I teach. I understand that all students learn in different ways and do my best to cater to the student.

I tutor years 9-11, focusing on GCSE and pre-GCSE content in Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Maths, Economics, and English. I also tutor AS Maths and Chemistry. I teach any content that is unknown or needs clearing up, and focus on using memorable methods that stay present in the student's mind. Many students have enough knowledge to perform in exams, but can fall short due to schools overlooking exam technique. I use mark schemes, and exam board feedback to teach good exam technique, ensuring that time spent revising is not wasted. I am happy to teach lessons anywhere in the range of 30-60 minutes. I have always helped teach my younger siblings, and any younger students that ask as I have a passion for educating. I have no official prior tutor experience, but achieved all 9s at GCSE and am predicted 4 A*s.
