About James
The ability to become part of a community that creates a culture of achievement as a yearly mission has been by motivating all stakeholders to be a part of the process. This is done by having them involved in creating and monitoring attainable goals that are driven by research-based solutions. Being a part of the learning community has given me the opportunity to master my democratic leadership style. My two biggest attributes are my intrapersonal and interpersonal skills. Utilizing these skills during collaboration has motivated me to obtain my master's.

I have been a social studies instructional leader for 14 years. For my first 9 years I taught at East Bay Collaborative and the last 5 years I have taught at Shea High School in Pawtucket, RI. On top of teaching I am the Head Track and Field Coach, a Union Rep, and tutor. Throughout the summers I have been a corporate trainer for Electric boat, wrote the STEAM curriculum for elementary students for the YWCA in Woonsocket. My personal vision as an educator has been to guide students through multiple levels to meet statewide standards and encourage students to reach their full potential.
