About Huy
An experienced Vietnamese language teacher who believes the language cannot be separated from the culture that shaped it.
Beyond the classroom, I am the co-founder of Khoái Việt foundation, a Vietnamese performing arts organization dedicated to keeping Vietnamese traditional and pop culture alive through live music, performance, and community events, created for and by the diaspora.

Learning Vietnamese is not just memorizing words. It is stepping into a history, a people, and a way of seeing the world.
I have been teaching Vietnamese for over ten years, and my classes go beyond grammar and vocabulary. We talk about where the language came from, what it carries, and why it matters, especially if you grew up somewhere in between.
I also teach singing through Vietnamese songs, because music is one of the most honest ways to feel a language from the inside out. Whether you are a complete beginner or reconnecting with something you almost lost, there is a place for you here.
