About Samuel
I have been playing the violin for 10+ years and am currently a junior in high school. I perform in my school’s top varsity orchestra, where strong musicianship, discipline, and confidence are essential. I have been accepted into the TMEA Region 25 Orchestra three times, experiences that strengthened both my technique and musical mastery.
As a teacher, I am patient, encouraging, and easy to communicate with. I focus on explaining concepts clearly and adjusting my teaching style to each student so lessons feel personalized, productive, and easy to follow. I understand the balance between school, orchestra, and practice, so my goal is to help students build technique, musicality, and confidence, while having a positive relationship with music!

My lessons are designed for all levels of violinists. Lessons are engaging, supportive, and structured, with a focus on Suzuki books, Essential Elements, and more.
Each lesson is personalized to the student, emphasizing tone, intonation, confidence, and musicality. Students will receive clear guidance on how to practice effectively, including short- and long-term goals, scales, études, and other repertoire, so students always know what they are working toward.
My lessons also help prepare for school playing tests, chair placements, and auditions in a manageable way, all with a positive and encouraging environment that balances fun with focus.
