About Celeste
For the last eight years I have helped clients build strength, flexibility and confidence, and helped others to overcome persistent injuries, chronic pain and postural issues.
I started my studies as a Dietitian, and proceeded to obtain my Master's degree in the field. During my postgraduate studies I discovered Yoga and this is where I found my true calling. I have been fascinated by anatomy and the movement of the human body, and the ways in which specific strengthening and stretching can assist a body in recovering from or preventing injury. I simultaneously completed my basic mat Pilates teacher training course. I also progressed to become an advanced, registered Yoga teacher as well as teaching students to become yoga instructors.

I educate students to understand concepts to allow them to carry this movement knowledge through their everyday lives as well as through every pose in their yoga practice. I encourage mindfulness in each pose and all the movement in between. My sessions are creative and light-hearted, I encourage laughing and not taking oneself, or any pose, too seriously. My sessions integrate several movement modalities to keep students on their toes and to offer maximal benefit to their bodies and minds.

Celeste is the best private yoga instructor that I’ve had the pleasure to meet.
I am 62 years old, have various skiing injuries like bilateral ankle fractures, broken elbow and injured back. Yet she has been able to carefully guide me into doing most of the yoga poses with relative ease!
She has vast knowledge of anatomy and applies this in a professional and skillful way to benefit her students. Highly recommended.I've been training with Celeste for the last 4 months in yoga and rehabilitation of my shoulders, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. She is attentive, skilful and highly knowledgeable in her field, keeping up-to-date with new methods and research, while maintaining a solid base from her own training and experience. You will not be disappointed.
