About Yasmin
Hello my name is Yasmin and I am aspiring to become an investment banker. I am really passionate about mathematics and so decided to become a tutor for both GCSE and A Level students in maths. I am very confident that with my teaching you will be able to achieve your highest potential as you will also be able to contact me outside of private tutoring through email with any work you are struggling with in school. Students should take a screenshot or a picture of math problems and email it to me and from there I will create a step by step solution in which I will be able to explain during private tutoring. I will also recommend websites I used to help me study for exams and also YouTube videos that can also be very helpful. I'm also aware that visual learning in maths is very important so sometimes you may need to approach a question by creating a mental picture to help explain a particular idea or concept. Therefore, I will definitely be using a portable camera which will show during the class live solutions to any questions you may have.

First I will start off by asking what exam board you are currently studying and from there I will be able to go through all the topics the exam board will require off you. I will create lessons for you for each topics that will be minimum 2 hours long in which I will teach you the topic, create practise questions, and also set you homework for the next lesson. I can also create lessons based on what topics you are struggling with in maths at school and also help with school homework. The most important task is after practising textbook or worksheet practise questions is to actually attempt exam style questions to prepare you for GCSE's or Alevel's. I can teach any students from ages 8-19. I will offer a free first lesson so students will get an idea of my teaching style and I will be able to get an idea of what you're currently studying in lessons. I have experience tutoring my sister for GCSE's maths during the lockdown, where I took the role in teaching her various subject out of a textbook and printed various worksheets on every topic. I look forward to teaching this subject as I very passionate about maths and therefore hopefully with my effort and your hard-work you are able to achieve a grade B or higher.
