About Stefan
My name is Stefan, I’m 51 years of age. After living in Berlin (20 years) and Toronto (3 years) I moved back to my hometown – the beautiful world heritage protected Bamberg – for family matters in 2020.
All my life I’ve been interested in languages, cultures, travelling, and learning in general. And now I know I have the wisdom and patience to teach and give online lessons.
It's just a pleasure for me to see a student's communication skills and auditory comprehension improve. How being able to understand and use German on a daily basis can open new doors.

I like to offer very student-oriented content in highly individualized and time flexible lessons.
You tell me what you want to learn and I make sure you will achieve your goal. If you need to reach a certain German language level quickly, or pass an exam, apply for a work permit, do well in an interview or just out of interest.
I like to emphasize on pronunciation which can be tricky in German and to encourage you to speak a lot and to practice, practice, practice. All with a pinch of humor to make learning fun.
