About Elijah
I'm Elijah! I'm a current BA (Hons) Fine Art student at the University of Chester. I live with a group of my friends who are all fellow artists. When I'm not studying, making work or curating and managing my collective, I can usually be found listening to music or reading. I'm currently getting through Rob Halford's autobiographies!

My approach to tutoring is customised to you! The nature of Fine Art is wishy-washy - and whilst I'm happy to help guide you along with GCSE and A-Level coursework - if you're just looking to get into art at all, be it the theoretical/practical side, that's fine too! These lessons can be altered to fit any age/interest. I can work with you to put together some sessions that you'll find informative. I'm new to being a tutor, but have previously run lectures, and I currently run a small local art collective, which involves a lot of collating information and presenting it. Prior to your lessons, let me know what your goals are for your theory/practice - this way, I can start pulling together my resources. Art History/Theory sessions will be around an hour to an hour and a half, with a presented lecture on the subject, alongside conversational sections to talk through some works. Practical lessons on drawing and painting are also available, online. I'll let you know what supplies you'll need prior to the session, and then we'll work alongside each other. These sessions will be 1 and a half hours long, with a short break. I have around 4 years experience in oil and acrylic painting, and have studied the human form through life drawing classes for the past year.
