About Natalie
With experience of over 3 years of tutoring various subjects at different levels, I have learnt a lot about different ways of approaching my students in order to maximise our lesson time, as well as insure that every student can finish the lesson with at least some elements understood in a bit more depth. I am very friendly and easy to talk to, and I make sure that my students always feel comfortable asking questions regarding our lesson.

The lessons can vary in length depending on the student’s needs. I like to start the lesson by focusing on one topic at a time and give the student the opportunity to let me know what topic they would like to focus on. Then, we explore the topic in more depth, work on understanding it and then move on to some worked examples and some more independent work to ensure that all gaps are filled. Of course, things don’t always go to plan so if the student seems to struggle to understand some aspects, I try to explain things in a different manner, using all kinds of methods, including mind maps, flashcards on quizlet and anecdotes where appropriate.
