About Basma
Hi! I’m Basma, a 4th Year Medical Student studying at the University of Sheffield. I’m an experienced GCSE and A-level Biology tutor, and also provide support for medical school applications, including personal statement reviews and interview preparation. I’ve always had a passion for Biology, as it was my initial gateway to developing an interest in Medicine. Teaching brings me real fulfilment. There’s something incredibly rewarding about helping someone gain confidence and excel in something they once found difficult. I believe that the most effective learning occurs when lessons are tailored to an individual's needs and learning style. I endeavour to follow this approach in each lesson.
