About Amelia
I have been acting professionally since 2016! I hold a Master's degree in Acting from the Yale School of Drama and a Bachelor's degree in Acting from Ball State University. I have also apprenticed at Actors Theatre of Louisville. I am well trained and well practiced at acting! I have taught acting classes to students ages 5-14 and coached adults in auditions for Broadway, Off-Broadway, Regional Theater, Film and TV shows such as FBI, The Equalizer, Emily in Paris and more. I have also mentored young students in playwriting. I have worked in regional theaters across the country and appeared in TV shows such as Law and Order: SVU, High Fidelity and more.

There are many ways I am able to approach working on a piece with you, from text analysis and working through the 5 questions, to Linklater, Fitzmaurice, or Patsy Rodenburg techniques to free your voice, or Grotowski, Suzuki, Qi Gong, Clown or Somatic movement elements to get you in your body and connecting with the character.
If you have a lot of experience or a little, we can start where you begin.
