About Jeffrey
I received my Ph.D. In Curriculum & Instruction and M.S. in Cell Biology & Molecular Genetics from the University of Maryland in 2013, after which time I joined the Biology Dept. at UT El Paso as an Assistant Professor. I have taught a variety of biology lectures and labs during my tenure at UT El Paso with class size ranging from 20 to 250 students. Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, swimming, and playing the piano.

I have enjoyed working with students at both the K-12 and college levels for over a decade. I value getting to know my students and using interactive techniques to help them master biology content. I welcome students with all levels of biology background and will work to create a customized learning plan that will help you succeed in your studies.
