About Yiming

Hello! My name is Harry, and I have recently graduated from Cambridge University with a first-class mark in Biological Natural Sciences. Being an international student who performed mediocrely before coming to the UK for secondary education, I know firsthand the daunting challenges of studying GCSEs and A-levels and applying to university, and the massive difference that having good tutors and mentors made for me. I therefore aspire to replicate the good mentoring I received to as many students as possible.

About the lesson

I aim to use a relaxed, discussion-based approach in my lessons, where students are encouraged to share their thoughts on academic subjects and explore topics that interest them. My tutoring style is generally adaptable to each student's needs, inspiring those who already possess a solid foundation in the area to pursue their interest further and those with a less secure foundation to develop their interest in the subject. Due to the discussion-based nature of my lessons, they might vary in length but would generally fall between 30 minutes and 1 hour.
