About Chisom

I am patient, friendly and adaptable. I really enjoyed my A levels, finishing with A* s in Chemistry, Biology and Maths and what I love to see is my students engaging with their subjects in a different way, really enjoying learning and excelling.

About the lesson

I like to understand the reason the student has sought out tutoring: acing an upcoming exam, catching up, or just general revision. Then after discussion with the student, I create a lesson plan which usually begins from the basics, to what they find challenging, to high yield questions, and on to the really difficult, top scorer questions. I think it's really important for students to know how they like to learn and what works best for them and then tailor plans accordingly.

Chisom is an incredible teacher that helped me pass my exams with flying colours. She excels at explaining difficult concepts in accessible ways and went the extra mile to ensure I understood everything before my exams. She also provided me with invaluable resources and I couldn't have achieved my grade without her
