About Fatema
I am a biomedical science graduate who is currently working in a secondary school. Although I have never tutored before, I have worked in nurseries and taught pre-school children. I would like to further this experience by tutoring older pupils in all 3 sciences and mathematics. Biology is my strongest subject out of those.

My proposed teaching structure would be to lay out some learning objectives prior to the sessions. Then, I would go through the key points of the lesson, with some examples alongside to strengthen the content. Towards the end of the lesson, I would lay out some reflection questions to test how much the pupil has learnt. From there, I would pick out areas of improvement and discuss this with the pupil. As a tutor, patience, leadership and feedback are really important.
