About Simran

My name is Simran, and I am currently a Biomedical Science student with a profound love for biology. Having experienced the challenges of exams firsthand, I understand the difficulties students face. I am passionate about using my knowledge to help others navigate and excel in their studies. I strive to make lessons enjoyable and interactive, avoiding passivity to ensure a stimulating and effective learning experience.

About the lesson

My lessons focus on building strong relationships and using various methods tailored to each student's needs. This personalised approach ensures effective understanding and retention of concepts, helping students achieve top grades in Biology. With a background in biomedical science, I bring expert knowledge to each session. As a student myself, I fully understand how to teach other students effectively. My goal is to make learning engaging and suited to each individual's needs.

Simran has been brilliant tutoring both my daughters aged 10 and 15, she has been tutoring them for 3 years now. My youngest daughter was significantly behind her age group and with Simrans help she is back on track. My eldest daughter went from achieving 5’s in sciences and English to now achieving 8’s in her recent mocks.

Simran is a lovely Tutor for my son. She has been tutoring him in Maths, English and Science for the last year and also guides and mentors him in other areas too. Homework is given weekly and marked with my son so he understands what he did well and where improvement is needed. Simran also communicates well with me providing feedback on how its going and what we can do to help at home. Would highly recommend Simran.
