About Julie

Communicating science has always been a real passion of mine and I often participated in outreach and tutoring sessions while studying for my BS in Chemistry. During this time, I garnered a well-rounded grasp on the natural sciences - taking a number of courses in addition to chemistry, such as biology, physics, and math.

After working in both industry and private research, I graduated with my Master's in Chemistry in 2020.

About the lesson

I strive to make a study plan that works best for you!

I prefer taking the time to fully understand the strengths and weaknesses of the student and create a lesson plan that will enable you to feel confident with the material.

Tutoring sessions incorporate discussion-based lessons and well as more structured question sets that will allow the student to fully grasp the application of the material.

Chemistry can be taught up through middle school (in the form of basic natural sciences) to more advanced college-level courses (general chemistry, inorganic, organic, etc.). I am also able to provide sessions on middle school/high school/lower level college biology, physics, and math.
