About Joshua
I started programming since I was 12. I have taken courses in web, mobile, and backend development. Here is my website - joshuachou.com I have recently developed Grade Genius a course manager- (concealed information) I have also developed Brookedge academy's Learn Chemistry app (concealed information) I have more than 200 hours / 2 years of teaching experience in various subjects. I teach coding on my YouTube channel, there is a sample video below. I am also a grade 11 computer science student. I attend and have taught at the computer science club. I enjoy meditating every day and walking on nature trails, it helps me feel peaceful and calm. I like reading fantasy and mystery novels in my free time and I have fun developing apps.

I give easy-to-understand, step-by-step instructions to learn how to code and build your own apps or websites. I can also help with coding bootcamps, whether it be homework and/or understanding concepts. We can also go through coding exercises. The student gets to decide what language they want to learn. I can teach. I am available to teach JavaScript, React, HTML CSS, Node, Java, Python, and MongoDB. Every programming language has similarities so learning even one of these languages can open up pathways for other languages.

Joshua is an amazing tutor!
He started volunteering for BrookEdge Academy in February 2021. In his roles as an English, Math, and Science Tutor, he was well known for his fantastic ability to explain clearly to younger children and his knowledge of the content he was instructing. He planned his lessons carefully and executed them effectively, able to tailor them reasonably based on how the student responded during class. Joshua has volunteered for BrookEdge Academy students for more than 158 hours, all out of his love of helping children achieve more in their school.
