Current Computational Biology Master's student at the University of Durham | First Class Chemistry graduate from the University of St Andrews | GCSE & A-Level Chemistry and Biology Tutor

I'm delighted to recommend Sam as a tutor. He worked with my first born between his January mocks and his final summer exams, and the improvement in their results was clear. Ollie's grades in biology rose from a 6 in the mock, to eventually achieving an 8 in his GCSE, and just as importantly, their confidence in the classroom grew.

What sets Sam apart is how he teaches. He takes the time to work out where a child is struggling and explains things in a way that makes sense to them, rather than just drilling answers. He's patient, encouraging and well prepared for every session, and my children actually looked forward to their lessons, which is not something I expected from extra schoolwork.

He is also reliable and professional, communicates clearly with us as parents, and always gave us a sense of what they were working on and how they were progressing.

I would not hesitate to recommend Sam to any family looking for a tutor who gets real results.

We used Sam when our daughter was struggling to understand some of the concepts she needed to know for her exams. After chatting together they hatched a plan and Sam’s delivery style meant our daughter was able to fully understand the areas she had been struggling in. I would 100% recommend Sam and definitely use him in the future.
