About Sourav

With over 14 years of professional analytical experience combined with dedicated teaching practice, I bring structure, patience, and clarity to school-level science education. I specialize in mentoring Class 8, 9, and 10 students in Biology and General Science across CBSE, ICSE, and State board curriculums.

I understand that many students feel overwhelmed by complex scientific terminology, difficult life processes, and the pressure of accurate diagram labeling. My goal is to create a supportive, encouraging environment where students feel completely comfortable asking questions until every concept is thoroughly clear.

Whether your child needs foundational support to overcome learning gaps or structured practice to achieve top marks in school board examinations, I tailor each session to their individual learning pace and maintain consistent communication to track their progress.

About the lesson

My classes are tailored specifically for Class 8, 9, and 10 students (CBSE, ICSE, and State Boards) to help them understand Biology conceptually, master accurate diagram labeling, and excel in school examinations.

Teaching Methodology:
Biology is best learned through visualization rather than blind rote memorization. I break down complex physiological processes, plant systems, cellular biology, and genetics using clear flowcharts, step-by-step structural sketches, and intuitive analogies on an interactive digital whiteboard.

Typical 60-Minute Lesson Framework:

First 10 Mins: Previous session review, terminology check, and homework doubts.

20 Mins: Conceptual breakdown of core biological mechanisms and life processes.

20 Mins: Guided practice solving textbook questions (NCERT, Selina / Concise Biology) and past board questions, focusing strictly on high-scoring scientific keywords.

Last 10 Mins: Diagram-drawing drills, live doubt clearing, and practice assignment.

Special Features:

Focus on the exact technical keywords and definitions required to score maximum marks in board evaluations.

Training on neat, rapid, board-standard diagram labeling under exam time constraints.

Downloadable PDF class notes and summary charts shared after every session.

Periodic chapter tests and structured revision before school unit tests and pre-boards.
