My Approach to Bass Guitar Tuition I tailor my lessons to each student’s goals, whether they’re beginners learning the fundamentals or advanced players refining technique, groove, and musicality. I focus on essential techniques such as finger-style, slap, pick-style while also exploring different genres to expand musical versatility. Lessons are engaging and adaptable, ensuring steady progress while keeping things fun and inspiring. Lesson Structure ~ Typical lesson length: 1 hour (adjustable based on student needs) ~ Lessons include warm-ups, technique exercises, theory application, repertoire development, and real-world playing skills Qualifications & Experience ~ 15 years of experience as a bassist, performer, songwriter, and singer ~ Music degree with extensive live and studio experience ~ Background in various genres, including Funk, Rock, Pop, R&B, Jazz ~ Strong knowledge of music theory, improvisation, and composition Who Can Learn? I teach all levels—from complete beginners to advanced players looking to refine their technique. Lessons are open to all ages and tailored to each student’s musical interests, whether they want to play in a band, improve their groove, or develop a professional skill set.
