About Nora

As an experienced pianist with a passion for teaching, I bring over 3 years of dedicated experience to guiding students of all levels in classical and jazz piano. My journey as a musician began from a young age, driven by a deep love for music that evolved into a commitment to sharing that passion through teaching.

My approach as a teacher is centered around personalized instruction that meets the individual goals and aspirations of each student. Whether a beginner starting their musical journey or an advanced pianist seeking to refine their technique and interpretation, I tailor my lessons to cultivate both technical proficiency and artistic expression. I believe in creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel motivated to explore their musical creativity and develop their unique musical voice.

Throughout my teaching career, I have developed a comprehensive teaching style that emphasizes a strong foundation in piano technique, music theory, and performance skills. Beyond teaching the mechanics of playing, I strive to foster a deep understanding of musical interpretation and expression. I encourage students to delve into the nuances of each piece, exploring dynamics, phrasing, and stylistic elements to bring music to life.

Outside of teaching, I continue to deepen my own musical knowledge through performance, study, and engagement with diverse musical genres. This ongoing dedication allows me to bring fresh insights and techniques into my teaching, ensuring that I provide students with the most effective and enriching learning experience possible. My ultimate goal is to inspire a lifelong love of music in my students while equipping them with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to excel in their piano journey and beyond.

About the lesson

In my piano lessons, I bring over 3 years of teaching experience as an experienced pianist specializing in classical and jazz genres. Each lesson is meticulously crafted to cater to students of all levels, from beginners to advanced pianists, with a focus on personalized instruction and musical development.

The journey begins with a comprehensive assessment of each student's current skill level, musical background, and goals. This initial step allows me to tailor the lesson content to meet the specific needs and interests of the student. For beginners, lessons may include learning basic piano techniques, understanding musical notation, and exploring foundational pieces. Advanced students may delve into complex repertoire, stylistic nuances, improvisation techniques, and advanced music theory.

I believe in fostering a nurturing and supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged to explore their musical creativity and express themselves through the piano. My teaching style combines technical precision with artistic expression, aiming to develop well-rounded musicians. We focus not only on mastering notes and rhythms but also on interpreting music with emotion and musicality.

Throughout the lessons, I incorporate a variety of teaching methods to keep the learning experience engaging and effective. This includes sight-reading exercises, music theory discussions, listening to and analyzing recordings, and practical application through performance. I provide constructive feedback tailored to each student's progress, helping them refine their technique, musical interpretation, and overall proficiency.

At the conclusion of each lesson, I summarize key concepts covered and assign practice assignments designed to reinforce learning and prepare students for future challenges. I encourage students to listen to diverse musical styles, attend concerts, and explore different pianists' interpretations to broaden their musical horizons. My ultimate goal is to inspire a lifelong love and appreciation for music while equipping students with the skills and confidence to excel in their piano journey.
