About Shankaran
I am a science graduate with a major in Chemistry and a minor in Biology. I spent around 25 years working as a Radio Officer in the merchant marine and offshore drilling industry, an experience that gave me valuable practical knowledge of technology, electronics and communication systems.
Now that I am retired, I would like to share my knowledge and experience with students and adults who want to learn something new. I believe that learning should be simple, practical and enjoyable. I am patient and willing to explain concepts step by step, according to each learner’s needs and pace.
My aim is to help learners improve their English reading and writing, understand basic science concepts, and develop confidence in using computers and the internet. I would be happy to help anyone who is curious and motivated to learn.

My teaching approach is simple, practical and student-friendly. I believe that learning should be enjoyable and easy to understand. I explain concepts step by step, using everyday examples to help students understand the subject rather than simply memorize facts. I encourage students to ask questions and learn at their own pace. My aim is to build their confidence and help them develop a genuine interest in learning. I offer online lessons in English, science and basic computer skills, tailored to each student’s needs and level.
