About Kelly
I am a Registered Nurse with over 10 years of clinical experience in acute care and a Professional Practice Clinical Educator with Trillium Health Partners. I currently support nursing students and healthcare professionals in developing strong clinical judgment, confidence, and evidence-informed practice. In addition to my clinical and teaching roles, I am completing my Master of Nursing with a focus on education and leadership, which further strengthens my ability to support learners using current, research-informed teaching strategies.
Throughout my career, I have developed a strong passion for teaching and mentoring nursing students at various stages of their education. I have experience supporting learners with clinical reasoning, care planning, pharmacology, academic writing, and preparation for clinical placements and the NCLEX. My goal is to create a supportive and approachable learning environment where students feel empowered to ask questions, build confidence, and develop the skills needed to succeed in both academic and clinical settings.

My approach emphasizes real-world application of theory, critical thinking development, and strengthening clinical judgment through discussion, case studies, and practice questions. I aim to create a supportive, approachable learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, exploring difficult concepts, and progressing at their own pace toward academic and professional success.
