About Ben
Hi, I’m Ben Rodwell, a professional drummer with 16 years of experience performing across the UK and Europe.
I’ve toured extensively with various bands, played at major festivals including Latitude, Green Man, and End of the Road, and worked as a live and session drummer in multiple genres from Rock and Indie to Folk, Country, and Americana.
I’m passionate about sharing my love of drumming and helping students build confidence, develop strong technique, and enjoy making music. I focus on creating a relaxed and supportive learning environment, tailored to each student’s goals and pace.
Whether you’re just starting out or exploring drumming for the first time, I bring real-world experience, creativity, and enthusiasm to every lesson. My aim is to make learning drums fun, inspiring, and rewarding.

I teach fun, engaging drum lessons for beginners and anyone picking up the drums for the first time. Lessons focus on:

With 16 years of drumming experience, including touring, festivals, and studio sessions, I bring real-world expertise into every lesson. Lessons are tailored to your pace and goals, usually lasting 45–60 minutes, helping you have fun, improve fast, and feel at home behind the kit.
