About Katherine

I'm happy to tutor at high school and college level for life sciences and some chemistry. If you are an IB student, I am also a Full International Baccelaureate graduate and recieved the full program diploma. I am able to tutor many of those subjects with specific help and tips for assessment readiness and writing.

I've always been really good at helping people learn. I study my current material by pretending to teach it to others. Helping people understand things gives me a great sense of accomplishment.

Second year biology major at USC. Full IB diploma graduate.

About the lesson

- Get a feel for their curriculum and program/class requirements.

- Zero in on what areas need to be strengthened.

- Find new ways to present material that work for them.

- Work through material until the student can do things independently or with little help.

- Repeat until I'm confident they could test well on the material.

High school, Full IB diploma candidates, college students in life science majors and basic chemistry.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
- What do I need to learn?

- What is making this difficult for me?

- Is there a learning style that works well for me?

- What is my end goal?
