About Dawn
I am a college professor and professional musician who lived in Germany for ten years working as a vocalist, pianist, voice teacher and choral conductor. I speak German at home with my native-spraker spouse, who is from Hannover. I have taught first-year German and German diction to college students and coach singers who perform German art song and opera.

I use a combination of exercises, from helping students learn how to physically shape German vowels and consonants to reading texts, role playing using conversational German in varied situations, and fun theater and improvisational exercises to improve confidence and clarity.
