About Rue

My specialism = GCSE Biology AQA (Combined Science Only) Hi! I’m Rutendo. I used to struggle with biology just like you. I know what it feels like to watch a revision video and still be confused. But once I cracked the method that actually worked, I went from lost to top grade and now I help others do the same. In my sessions, we’ll: Break down topics in a way that finally makes sense Use smart study tools like RAG sheets & past paper decoding Build memory & confidence through flashcards, visuals, and exam tricks Focus on YOUR weak points — no wasted time Whether you’re aiming for a Grade 6 or pushing for a 9, I’ve got you. Let’s turn your revision into results. What I help with: RAG topic breakdowns, revision planning, exam technique, past paper prep and just giving you the best advice you can to succeed by providing you with personalised revision resources tailored to you. Who it’s for: Year 10s and Year 11s who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or want to level up

About the lesson

As a 16-year-old who had just finished their GCSEs and waiting for their results, I used to be just like you—confused, frustrated, and convinced I’d never understand Biology. I was practically failing it… until something finally clicked. Now I’ve gone from struggling to a Grade 9, and I want to help you do the same. My lessons are personal, not robotic. I don’t just throw info at you and hope it sticks. I help you figure out how YOU learn best, whether that’s visuals, talking it out, active recall, or step-by-step breakdowns. We’ll go through the spec, break it down into topics, colour-code strengths and weaknesses, and tackle your red topics first. You’ll get structured lessons, practice questions, past paper help, and real exam tips plus encouragement from someone who actually gets it. I make learning feel less scary and more human. No judgement. No pressure. Just real support from someone who’s walked the path.
