I am a working science teacher and tutor (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Statistics, and art) in NYC. I have over fifteen years of experience. Currently, I teach all the science courses at a small private boys school in Riverdale and am immersed in the various curricula and test preparation materials - New York State Regent examinations, honors, and AP levels.

I have a supportive teaching style, focused on reassurance and encouragement. I like to break things down into simple pieces and create algorithms to help my students get comfortable with the material. I find that focusing on relieving anxiety and bolstering confidence in combination with clear explanations and well written notes is one of the fastest ways to improve a grade.
