About Crystal

Ko Crystal Nikora tōku ingoa
He uri ēnei nō Rongowhakaata, nō Tuhoe, nō Kahungunu hoki
I left Aotearoa as a baby and grew up in Australia, upon my return home I studied te reo Māori and Adult and Tertiary Teaching.
Started mahi as a pouāwhina and soon became kaiako for level 3 and 4 Te Reo Māori.
My other passions are all Toi Māori, Kapa Haka and everything Waiata.

My passion is teaching in a fun, safe space, where you are encouraged and celebrated to make mistakes, in this family-friendly and family-oriented environment.
Every week we will learn new kupu, new sentences and reflect on past sentences, through games, waiata, and an array of creative ways to help our reo Māori come off our books and flow out of our mouths.
Routine in our classes is key and even more there will be NO ASSESSMENTS.
