About Damian

After graduating with a Diploma of Audio Engineering & Music Production in 2010 I tried a few different musical paths with live sound, production and playing live. Since 2017, I have been working as a guitar tutor and have never looked back!

Having played from a young age, guitar is what gave me my interest in music and I've always thought fondly of my music teahers from my early years and hope to have the same impact on my students.

I have worked with students of all ages and a variety of abilities.  I get a lot of satisfaction in seeing how students grow and develop in their skills and performance.

The free trial lesson will allow us to find what your aims are for your guitar lessons.

To help you along your musical journey I create custom detailed song sheets that explore strumming patterns, picking patterns and lead sections. We then work through these together to show you the best way to play guitar for the particualar song so you can play it as it sounds and give you confidence to apply these techiniques elsewhere!

We can also bring in music theory and how it applies to the guitar as well as improvisation techniques.

My approcah to teaching is to create a safe and supporting space allowing studets to find their voice on guitar. Every student is different so I keep my approch flexible.

I can also introduce other instruments as well as recording/production knowledge
