About Ismael
Hello! I’m Ismael and I’m a senior in high school currently. My past few years of high school have been academically rigorous, but I’ve managed to triumph and become successful in my subjects—the kind of success I want to pass onto you. Whether it’s preparing for the SAT or an AP exam, academics can feel stressful. What I want more than anything is to ease your stress and build your confidence in difficult subjects. It always puts a smile on my face to see students finally understand a tough class or concept, a feeling I hope to spread to more people!

I prefer in-person lessons but can take online clients from elementary school to early college level. Subject understanding is built from the ground up with the first session being mostly practice problems—that way I know where there are gaps in content comprehension.
A typical lesson plan will consist of content tailored to the student’s performance level with practice problems integrated. As content is learned, the lesson plan is adjusted. I like to tailor my lesson plans to fit YOU, rather than simply to teach the content. I want to ensure my teaching methods fit the specific student rather than a specific curriculum.
