About Ade
I aim to be engaging and relatable for all types of students as I understand the challenges of achieving top grades in today's current school system. I believe anyone can improve their grades with the right support and I aim to provide this in full.
Occasionally tutored friends for free during A-levels, held teaching sessions during medical school. Also have 6+ years experience tutoring ADHD and neurodivergent students.
I will always prepare and organise tutorials in advance for a more effective session. I will establish with the student which topics they want to go through each week and and tackle the topics they find most difficult as a priority.
My teaching style will be light-hearted and interactive sessions to make learning more enjoyable, with quizzes, as well as many pictures and videos online to go with the worksheets. This will be coupled with me explaining each topic step by step and a summary at the end of each lesson to check the learning of the student.
I believe the critical factor for students to learn better and develop an appreciation for learning is to do so under less pressure and in an engaging environment

What my lessons look like:
We set the plan together – deciding what topics to focus on so things stay organised and clear.
Feedback and Basics – we start by looking over work you’ve done, Going over where your struggling, and explaining the basics.
Exam-style practice – once you’re confident with the basics, we dive into past papers, tricky exam questions (or in the case of interview practice real questions that I and my colleague Doctors have been asked), and real examiner feedback.
Skill-building – I bring in extra practice questions and resources to strengthen your weaker areas.
Flexible teaching style – I adapt to your pace and learning style, whether you like things explained step by step or prefer to dive straight into practice.
How I help you succeed
Instead of random lessons, I create a clear monthly plan so you always know what we’re working on and why. This makes sure your time is used effectively and keeps us focused on results – whether that’s exam success, revision support, or boosting confidence.

Perfect! Great tutor! Very patient, clear, and always willing to help. I’ve learned a lot just by my first lesson and really enjoyed it. Will definitely keep going. Highly recommend!
- Camilla is a clearly a very intelligent learner, and she came with a very clear plan of what she wanted to improve on and showed a keenness to learn that is very commendable. She is a very pleasant and persevering person who is willing to work through problems she doesn’t understandAde's response :

We were looking for support with the UCAT and medical school interviews for my son, and finding Ade was the best decision we made. My son started out quite anxious about the UCAT and unsure how to structure his answers for interviews, but Ade quickly built his confidence with clear strategies, and lots of encouragement.
The lessons were structured but never overwhelming for him — each week there was a clear focus, Ade has a real gift for breaking things down into simple steps and explaining how to approach questions under pressure.
What really stood out was the way Ade created a supportive atmosphere where my son felt comfortable asking questions and even making mistakes — and that’s exactly what helped him grow. By the time his real interviews came around, he knew how to organise his thoughts, respond with confidence, and show his personality.
Thanks to Ade, he went into both the UCAT and his interviews calm, prepared, and so much more confident. I would wholeheartedly recommend Ade to any parent looking for expert teaching, reliablility and genuinely caring support to tutor their child.
I’m pleased to recommend Dr Adedamola Akintola as a tutor. He is a knowledgeable, approachable, and patient individual who communicates clinical concepts clearly and effectively. His ability to support and teach others, both informally on the wards and in more structured settings, has made a real difference to those around him.
Dr Akintola has a natural talent for teaching and would be an excellent tutor, particularly for medical students or junior trainees.
Ade was an amazing tutor. He was patient, knowledgable and a fantastic help during both my exams and to consolidate knowledge.
He explained things in a clear way, took time to explain areas I found difficult and had great systems for helping me to retain what we had covered.
His understanding of both Medicine and effective learning methods helped me to really connect the dots and have those lightbulb moments.
I’d highly recommend him to anyone studying medicine no matter what stage you’re at.
10/10!
Thanks Ade for making Medicine that bit easier!!
Ade has been such a huge support in helping me get into medical school. I was really nervous about the whole process because becoming a doctor has always been my dream, but he reassured me and explained everything so clearly. His tips were incredibly useful, especially for my university interviews, and I felt like I had such an advantage going in. Thanks to his guidance, I’m now in my first year of medical school and I honestly couldn’t be more grateful.
