About Marion
I grew up in Germany and worked as a teacher, first with primary school students and later in adult education. I’ve moved to Australia 29 years ago where I worked as an event manger on a part-time basis but was mainly home with my children, who are grown-ups now. While they were growing up we regularly travelled to Germany for extended periods and both my children are fluent in Germany.
I moved to Adelaide about three years ago and have since been teaching German to high-school students. It’s been a very rewarding journey and I look forward to meeting new students. I can offer communication session which can easily be done online, but I find that grammar and spelling is easier to teach in person. But I’m open to the preference of the student.

I have know Marion for 20 years now and she has been a dear family friend for all these years. She has seen our 3 daughters grow up. Her wonderful daughter was our kids first ever babysitter and they stil have a strong bond with each other. Marion is relating well with all our girls and speaks German with them whenever we catch up with her.
She has a lot of life experience, travelled the world, is a very patient and trustworthy person, reliable and able to explain things very well. Highly recommend her as a German teacherMarion is a magnificent and very supportive teacher. My daughter is 8 years old and she studied German with Marion for half a year and she loves Marion so much. I think she learned very well, much, quick and made big improvements with her German.
