About Andie
I graduated from the Australian Institute of Music in 2018 with a Bachelor of Music (Performance). I have played drums at a professional level for over 15 years as well as being a self-taught pianist, guitarist, producer and audio-engineer. I have experience playing gigs in my hometown of Melbourne and tours on the West and East coast of Australia with both original bands and corporate acts.

I utilise effective, practical methods to help you understand music theory through the lens of why it was created in the first place: To make music!
I believe the most effective way to learn theory is to relate it back to making music, usually through a piano and singing. Music needs to be embodied - your instrument simply expresses it.
Whether you are an instrumentalist (including you, drummers) or a singer and just need more help understanding how modes work, how to identify key signatures, time signatures or just to simply drill aural exercises, I can help you!
My lessons are for high school and undergraduate students. I offer 60 minute lessons on any topic of your choosing.
