About Matt
I began playing music when I was in the fourth grade! I played through elementary, middle, high school, college, and continue to play today! I am a band director, as well as an instrumentalist, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music and a minor in Education. In addition to just learning music theory, I use theory to help "play by ear" and can help you do the same as an added BONUS!

Matt is a very skilled professional musician with a great sense of humor and lots of patience. I highly recommend him!
I’ve known Matt for quite a while we’re in worship together one thing I can say is that, Matt is super attentive to detail! He’s one of the best teachers you’ll be able to find he’s very thorough in his approach. Truly committed to helping you perfect your craft . Making it super easy for you to grasp in concept of music theory.
I’ve watched him consistently teach music for 19 years. He’s worked with teams and they’ve grown in their skill. He is VERY studious and is always applying himself and learning new skills. He is trustworthy and is a hard worker. He can read and write songs plus charts. He can explain things very well for any level of skill.
