About Sonia
Hi! I am a friendly and dedicated tutor with experience helping GCSE students improve their confidence and understanding across subjects including English, Maths and Science. I currently study A-Level Maths, Chemistry, Physics, and Economics, which allows me to keep my knowledge fresh and up to date while continuing to strengthen my understanding of these subjects. Having recently completed my own GCSEs with strong grades, I understand the pressure students can feel and know how to explain difficult topics in a simple and relatable way. I enjoy teaching because I love helping students grow in confidence, achieve their goals, and reach their full potential in a supportive environment.

I aim to create lessons that are clear, supportive, and tailored to each student’s needs. I have experience helping GCSE students with subjects including Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and English, supporting them with revision, exam practice, and understanding difficult topics. As a recent high-achieving GCSE student myself, I understand the challenges students face and explain concepts in a simple, engaging way. My lessons focus on building confidence, improving exam technique, and creating a calm, encouraging learning environment where students can achieve their best.
