About Luke
I’m an accounting major and finance minor currently pursuing my CPA and MBA, which gives me a strong academic foundation and insight into what students will need in college and beyond. I'm also currently employed as an accounting tutor on my college campus, and so I feel that I am best able to connect with other students to help topic understanding. I’m passionate about helping students feel confident and even enjoy studying accounting.

As a tutor, I focus on making accounting clear, relatable, and confidence-building, especially for students who may feel overwhelmed by numbers or technical terms. I use a student-centered approach, breaking down complex accounting concepts into manageable parts using real-world examples, visual aids, and practice problems. I also adapt to each student’s learning style, flexible regardless of whether they prefer examples, repetition, or interactive problem-solving. Each session starts with a general overview of a student's knowledge and a brief overview of the topics to cover, then moves into the core topic with guided examples, hands-on practice, and a short recap to reinforce understanding.
My lessons are designed for high school students taking introductory accounting and college students in Financial Accounting I, tailored to each student’s pace and goals—whether they’re prepping for an exam, working through homework, or building a deeper understanding.
