About Sulma

Hi, I’m Sulma! I’m a UC Merced graduate passionate about helping students succeed in STEM and language subjects. Fluent in English and Spanish, I make learning accessible and engaging for students of all backgrounds. With me, students don’t just study—they gain skills that last a lifetime.

About the lesson

Hi, I’m Sulma! My tutoring approach focuses on making learning engaging and personalized. I break down complex concepts into simple, understandable steps and use real-life examples to help students connect ideas. In a typical lesson, we start with a quick review, practice problems together, and end with exercises tailored to the student’s needs. I emphasize interactive learning, asking questions, and encouraging curiosity. What sets me apart is my bilingual ability and my patience, which allows me to support students at their own pace. I tutor students of all ages, from middle school to college, in STEM subjects and language skills, adapting lessons to each learner’s level and goals.
