About Jacob
I play the bass, which I have played multiple different live performances in different musical styles throughout many years, including having taught private bass lessons to students in the past. I've played for the skokie valley symphony, as well as the UIUC orchestra, different jazz groups, Wheaton college orchestra, midwest young artists, independent bands, and more. I have also worked with a program at midwest young artists where I worked with different kids who took lessons with me.

The way to approach a lesson with me is not necessarily finite as there's adjustments with different circumstances, personalities, and ability. Also the lesson can depend on the type of direction and musical styles the student may want to work with. However, I would say a lesson could consist of different exercises, scales, perhaps some music theory background, different excerpts, possibly solo work, and maybe different songs or chord structures to go over. Although, again, that can depend on the musical styles and directions certain students would want to take.
