About Elina
I'm very passionate about academia as a whole, and I think there's great value in the structure of the IB for adolescent minds. I am a graduate of the MYP (Grades 6-9) that got top grades in English Language & Literature and in Integrated Sciences, as well as having a masterful understanding of trigonometry at the MYP and AI SL level.
I personalize each lesson based on the student's needs; the student and I work together to adjust our lessons if need be. I'm American, and therefore instruct in English.
My main goal is to empower students, whether that means helping to deepen understanding of class and syllabus content, breaking down complicated exam criteria, or providing feedback on past exams and assignments in order to enhance grades. I want to help students become successful in their educational endeavors.
