About Irène
I am a PhD student in Classical Studies. I come from Toulouse in the south of France. My father is French and my mother Italian so I speak both languages fluently. I am passionate about Italy, it is my second home, so I can talk about Italian culture, history, literature, food... for hours! I love reading and travelling, and I hope that we can talk about this a lot! I have been teaching French, Italian, Latin and ancient Greek for four years now. I love teaching and most of all seeing my students make progress is always a great satisfaction for me! Ciao, a presto!

Italian
My aim is to help you master the Italian language as quickly as possible. During the lessons, we will mostly speak in Italian because immersion in a language is the best way to learn it! We will also focus on grammar to help you overcome the difficulties of the Italian language. Thanks to my lessons and exercises, you will even find the subjunctive easy! The courses are generally divided in three parts. First of all, we review for a couple of minutes the concepts introduced during the lesson before. Then, I will introduce you to a new topic. I use different types of documents (audio, textes, images, etc). If you are a beginner, this could be for example a new grammatical notion. If you have an advanced level, it can be a theme, like how to express your feelings in Italian. Finally, if you want to reach a fluent level, we can read together a text, an article or anything that you will be interested in. Finally, during the last part, we will do some exercises to help you master what we learnt during the course.
