About Martina Marta

Hi, I'm Marta! As a native Russian speaker, I understand how challenging starting a new language can be. That’s why I create a supportive and friendly learning environment where you can feel comfortable speaking and making progress step by step. I am dedicated to helping you build confidence and achieve real results.

About the lesson

My Approach as a Tutor:
As a native Russian speaker, my goal is to help beginners feel comfortable speaking from the very first lesson. I focus on practical communication rather than memorising complex grammar rules.

Teaching Methods:
I use a simple, step-by-step approach designed specifically for beginners. We focus on speaking, listening, and pronunciation first, while gradually introducing essential grammar. I use real-life examples, repetition, and interactive exercises to make learning natural and effective.

Course of the Lesson
Each lesson is structured but flexible:

Quick review of previous material
Introduction of new words/phrases
Speaking practice (main focus)
Short exercises to reinforce understanding
Real-life conversation practice

My Specifics as a Teacher:
I am patient, supportive, and focused on building your confidence. I adapt every lesson to your pace and make sure you understand before moving forward. As a native speaker, I also teach you how Russian is actually spoken, not just textbook language.

Who the Lessons Are For?
My lessons are designed for complete beginners or those with very basic knowledge of Russian. Perfect if you want to:

Start learning from scratch
Improve your speaking skills
Learn Russian for travel or everyday communication

I always wanted to be able to hold a conversation in Russian and Marta had been so helpful in getting my skills to that point! We have been working together for just over 5 months. She is so patient, gives great explanations, and always takes it at whatever pace works for me. Couldn’t recommend her more!
